I am not sure why but it seems tears come to me very easily these days...happy tears that is. And today when I read about the good deed performed by Omar Gutierrez (on the right) to help Steven Walker (on the left), a robbery victim, tears came to my eyes. It was uplifting to be reminded that there are still many people who care enough to help someone in need.
Omar started a fund to help Steven get back to work and the response from the community exceeded all expectations. But rather than my writing about it. Go to Omar's blog which tells the story and has links to media coverage. Now this is the kind of news I like to read.
